Graduation Dinner..

Today is the day my batch which i came in with had their Graduation Dinner.. As they went out one by one to take their polo tees, sourveniors and had their Speech, I'm just sitting behind them thinking why am i not graduating with them? Why cant i graduate together with them? As Kelvin Tan is giving his speech, he cried, and I Teared.. Now as i flash back about what he said just now, and flashing back on my 3 years training with them, I'm starting to tear.. I'm not one who tears easily.. and this, i can truely say, is my 2nd time tearing for NPDB.. the first time is when Guan Hong that batch left, last June race, I cried..

In my Heart, all along I always treat myself as This Batch, Our Batch who came in together.. Not as the current yr3s.. This is My Batch.. The batch which we Pushed hard Together.. The batch which had the 'Cat's Sleeve' Yellow Regatta Race Tee.. The Batch with the Dragon Head Dark Blue June Race Tee.. The Last Batch to own the Yellow Stripes Training Tee.. The Batch with the Least number of people join and also Least number of people Leave.. The Batch which witnessed 2 Capsize.. This is MY BATCH.. And I'm gonna Miss them.. Miss trg with them.. Miss going down for races with them.. I'll be Missing Kelvin Tan, Ryan, Derick, Jinyuan, Ken, Henry, Leo, Hong Giap, Ellyas, Xueli, Sheryl, Thipa and Hui Ying.. I wont foget our trainings together.. And those Happy and Tough Times we had Together.. The Memories that we shared.. The pain that we endured.. The Fun and Dinners we had.. And most importantly, the BOND that still BINDS within us!! =) I'll Miss you People..

Next Weekend, it'll be my Last Race with them.. and i would very much like to row with them..
If can, of cause i'll want to row in all 4 catogaries namely IVP Mens and Mixed, Opens Mens and Mixed.. But our coach will limit Each rower to 3 races.. And I really wanna row in Both Mix events.. Both IVP events too.. And have a Last race with My Batch too.. and thats almost all the races.. haa.. oh well, i'll leave it to Ah Huat on race day.. The line-up is more or less ready, and i predict that i'll be rowing for IVP Mens, Opens Mens, and Opens Mixed.. I wanna row badly for IVP Mixed.. But Sacrifices have to be made.. And this is Indeed Really a very Hard and Painful one.. Ouch! But I BELIEVE Ah Huat will be making the correct Decisions on the race days.. :)
